Lori Day has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate. Having joined Ley Wilson Development in 2010, Lori has oversight of all accounting functions including financial reporting and corporate operations. Her understanding of retail real estate operations creates efficiencies in reporting and supervision of third party, out sourced functions.
Lori is a veteran in the commercial real estate industry, managing shopping centers totaling 7.5 million square feet in Houston, Galveston, College Station and Conroe and over 500 retail tenants. Prior to joining Ley Wilson Development, she managed Ley family real estate developments with some of Houston’s leading real estate firms. In 1994 she opened and ran The Weitzman Group/Cencor Realty Houston office as Vice President and Property Manager. She was responsible for the operations of 12 shopping centers throughout Houston as third-party property manager for the General Electric portfolio. Lori then spent 5 years managing several of Houston’s most high profile retail developments in Uptown and River Oaks with the Trammell Crow Company.
Lori is a licensed Texas real estate salesperson and member of ICSC, BOMA and CREW. She was a past member of the Directors Committee for the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo and an active member of Second Baptist Church. Lori is a native Texan who lives in Katy with her husband Max.
